International Game Theory Review (IGTR)
Journal Descriptions
Rapid changes and development in technology, communication, industrial organization, economic integration, political reforms, and international trade have called into question of the tools and methodologies available currently and the need to support complex decision making that required details and rapid data analysis, to calculate the profits and losses, careful consideration of risk and opportunity that may open. A strategic approach to decision-making is a crucial component in supporting trade negotiations, foreign and domestic investments, capital accumulation, pollution control, market integration, regional cooperation, development and implementation of new technology, arms control, international resource extraction, network sharing, and competitive marketing. The International Game Theory Review (IGTR) was initiated and launched in 1999 as a platform to publish the research in developing solutions and sharing of ideas in game theoretic analysis of strategic decisions for social, economic, political and military affairs. Since its inception, game theory has contributed significantly to the foundations of game theory in complex decision-making. As socio-economic and political problems increase in complexity, further development in methodology, techniques, empirical investigations, and applications of game theory are called for.
