Internasjonal Politikk is the leading Scandinavian-language journal within international studies. The journal takes an open and broad approach to the field, which is based on what we study, rather than how we study it. Internasjonal Politikk receives articles from the entire field of international politics and international relations, but has a particular goal of being a leader within studies of Norwegian and Scandinavian foreign policy. International Politics is ranked at scientific level 1 in the Norwegian Council of Universities and Colleges' (UHR) list of publishing channels. As of 2016, International Politics is a scientific open access journal. International Politics has been awarded funding under the Norwegian Open Journals in the Humanities and Social Sciences scheme managed by Unit. The funding is awarded for a three-year period from 2021.
