Intercultural Dialogue (ICDG)
Journal Descriptions
Intercultural Dialogue (ICDG) is a journal dedicated to exploring the history, development, and current trends in language and cultural studies, with a primary focus on the interconnections and interactions between overseas Chinese Studies and foreign studies in China. It aims to bridge the gap between previously distinct research communities, facilitate deeper communication and understanding across diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, and ultimately enrich the discourse in intercultural studies by fostering connections between these groups. The journal actively promotes interdisciplinary research from interlingual and intercultural perspectives, emphasizing dialogue and mutual learning among civilizations. Through these efforts, it aims to create a global network of researchers engaged in intercultural studies in the broadest sense of the term. In addition to research articles, Intercultural Dialogue also publishes a variety of scholarly contributions, including book reviews, conference reports, annotated editions of texts, and archival resources.
