Indian Journal of Veterinary Anatomy is a scientific journal of Indian Association of Veterinary Anatomists. The first issue of first volume of the journal was published in 1989. The journal is published six monthly (two issues per volume, June & December). THE INDIAN JOURNAL OF VETERINARY ANATOMY publishes, the original research articles, short communications, reviews and comments on the comparative, descriptive, experimental, applied anatomy, histology, cytology, histochemistry, cytochemistry, developmental anatomy etc. as they relate to vertebrates. Preference is given to the articles on the ultrastructure, immuno-histochemistry, lectin histochemistry and modern imaging techniques on species of Veterinary importance. Research papers on anatomy of different systems of wild and laboratory animals are also considered provided that a prior permission has been taken from the appropriate authorities. Review articles are invited from renowned scientists on different topics of anatomy with functional significance. The article should have not hitherto been published/accepted/submitted elsewhere.
