Indian Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (IJTCS)

Indian Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (IJTC) is dedicated to publishing emerging peer-reviewed research in the biomedical and life sciences as applicable to Cardiovascular and Thoracic medicine and surgery. We aim to provide a platform for disseminating cutting-edge research that advances medical knowledge and enhances clinical practice. The journal is the official publication of the Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons (IACTS), which currently has a membership of over 2,000. It was established in 1982 by Dr. Solomon Victor and was published biannually until 1996. In 2000, the editorial office moved to Delhi, and in 2001, the journal began publishing quarterly. Since 2018, it has been published bimonthly, with regular issues as well as additional supplements released on schedule. The journal receives manuscripts from both members and non-members of IACTS.
