Indian Journal of Natural Products and Resources (IJNPR), a quarterly journal, is dedicated to the exploration of topics that confront both educators, frontline workers in the fields, entrepreneurs and ultimate users of the value added products and their resources pertaining to both plants and animals. It publishes original research papers, reviews and short communications. The scope of the journal is multidisciplinary especially of applied nature. Papers on plant cultivation, fishery, apiary, poultry, dairy, disease and pest control measures, postharvest technology/practices, value added products and utilization of plants and animals in broader sense (including ethnobotany and pharmacology) are considered for publication. IJNPR was formerly known as Natural Products Radiance (NPR), a bimonthly journal started in 2002. CSIR-NIScPR does not levy Article Processing Charges (APCs) or Article Submission Charges. Accordingly, Volume 1 to Volume 8 (2002 to 2009) have been brought out under the name Natural Product Radiance . Over the years the contents of NPR have been diversified in response to contributors. So to make its name be responsive, we made efforts to rename it and obtained new name, Indian Journal of Natural Products and Resources (IJNPR) from Registrar Newspaper India (RNI). However, as per their instructions new name shall start from Vol. 1. It will now include more number of papers in each issue. The former title continued to imply a more limited scope but the name change signals an updating of old title to reflect this journal's scope and contents. Considering the interest of our esteemed users/readers in categorized information on varied natural products and resources, NISCAIR launched a quarterly online open access repository entitled, NATURAL PRODUCT AND RESOURCES REPOSITORY (NPARR) , from Jan 2010. Abstracts of papers along with citation and address of corresponding authors will be provided after collection and collation from various core and non-core journals. Authors can send soft copies of abstracts of their published papers, technologies/know-how developed at their institute/university (during current year) for including them under respective group of products/technologies.
