The Indian Journal of Gynecologic Oncology (IJGO) is an academic initiative of the Association of Gynecological Oncologists of India (AGOI). One of the primary objectives of AGOI is to provide a platform for gynecological oncologists from India and other countries to exchange ideas, propagate the advancement of science in this field. AGOI was established in 1991 and is the only association in India dedicated to the specialty of gynecologic oncology. It is a registered body and is recognized by the International Gynecological Cancer Society (IGCS). IJGO is a double-blind, double peer-reviewed journal that features articles written by clinicians, clinical researchers and basic scientists about research and patient care issues in gynecological oncology and breast cancer. This journal focuses on new and emerging technologies, cutting-edge science, advances, preventive and therapeutic aspects of gynecological oncology.
