Indian Journal of Cancer (ISSN 0019-509X), the show window of the progress of oncological sciences in India, was established in 1963. Indian Journal of Cancer is the first and only periodical serving the needs of all the specialties of oncology in India. Its international repute is recognized by its indexing with most bibliographic databases including MEDLINE, Index Medicus, EMBASE and Biological Abstracts. The journal is official publication of the Indian Cancer Society. The readership has expanded beyond the boundaries of the country. Apart from journal's own website, the internet issue of the journal has been made available with collaboration with Bioline International, Canada. The journal's content from www.bioline.org.br/cn attracts more than 5000 visitors per month, from all over the world. The journal utilizes most advanced tools for its management including an electronic system for manuscript submission and review. The issues are published Quarterly. Articles can be submitted online from www.journalonweb.com . The journal provides immediate free access to all the published articles. The journal does not charge the authors for submission, processing or publication of the articles.
