The Indian Journal of Clinical Biochemistry is published four times in a year (January, April, July and October). It publishes original research work of Indian and foreign scientists related to clinical biochemistry, as well as review articles, short communications, case reports and proceedings of special symposia. An Editorial Board headed by Editor-in chief manages it. The Editor-in-chief and other members of the board are appointed by Executive Council. The tenure of the board is of three years. At the end of the term new board is constituted or the term of the present Board is extended by one more term at a time. The primary mission of the Indian Journal of Clinical Biochemistry is to serve the public interest in health care by providing leadership in clinical laboratory science to national professional societies, the diagnostics industry, government and non-government organizations. The journal also acts as an interdisciplinary bridge between various areas of medicine. It covers laboratory accreditation programmes pertaining to health and disease.
