Il Politico (IlPolitico)
Journal Descriptions
Il Politico , founded in 1950 by Bruno Leoni, a political scientist and political philosopher, aims to promote understanding of modern political systems and their interrelationships. The international perspective thus draws on the tradition of the "Annals of Political Science," while the disciplinary diversity of interrelationships is enhanced by examining their historical, sociopolitical, legal, and economic aspects. In other words, the disciplinary diversity of international relations is studied as it relates to interrelationships: particular attention has always been paid to "strong" interrelationships, particularly the process of European integration. The more than 60 "Quaderni" (Notebooks) that have accompanied Il Politico since its founding confirm its multidisciplinary vocation, always under the constraint of reference to interrelationships between political systems.
