"Il Pensiero Politico" has established itself in Italy and abroad as the most important periodical on the history of political doctrines . Not only does it boast the collaboration of internationally renowned scholars, but its extensive bibliography is curated by around thirty university professors who highlight the most significant studies from the ancient world to the present day. A quarterly publication, it was founded in 1968 by Mario Delle Piane, Luigi Firpo, Salvo Mastellone, and Nicola Matteucci. «Il Pensiero Politico» has asserted itself in Italy and abroad as the most important periodical on the history of political doctrines.
