IEEE Networking Letters (INL)

IEEE Networking Letters is a technical journal designed to provide a fast‑track publication outlet for robust, innovative research in the field of computer and communication networking. Because contemporary networks evolve rapidly — encompassing core infrastructures, access and edge networks, data centers, virtualization, wireless/mobile systems, and security frameworks — this journal specializes in concise, high‑impact letters that present novel results from both theoretical analysis and experimental investigation. Its scope includes network architecture and cross‑layer design, protocol development and evaluation, software‑defined networking, network operation and management techniques, performance measurement and modeling, as well as emerging approaches such as AI‑enabled networking and IoT connectivity. Letters are intended to be brief but technically rigorous, typically up to five pages in standard IEEE format, and undergo a rapid peer‑review cycle to accelerate dissemination.
