IBM Systems Journal (ISJ)
Journal Descriptions
Throughout its history, the IBM Systems Journal has been devoted to software, software systems, and services, focusing on concepts, architectures, and the uses of software. Peer-reviewed scholarly technical papers are published on software design, engineering, testing, implementation, and performance. Subjects covered range from programming code and algorithms, to applications, middleware, and entire software systems. The complexity and interdependence of technology in modern information systems is such that it became appropriate to merge the IBM Journal of Research and Development and the IBM Systems Journal, and this began in 2009.
