HYBRID (HYBRID)

HYBRID is published by ALT (Academy of Leadership and Theology) and publishes high-quality research in the form of scientific articles and book reviews in Swedish at the intersection of biblical studies (BV), church and mission studies (KM), and systematic theology (ST). The journal, which is published once a year, maintains a special interest in congregational theology and each issue starts from a predetermined theme that relates to studies of emerging, and already existing, or historical, (free) church communities and practices. HYBRID is a journal that combines perspectives that are often placed in different spheres and conversations, and thereby wants to defy a classic division where different theological subjects are separated, as well as a division between church, society and academia. This is done by discussing each theme from several subject areas and by peer-reviewing each article from three different subject areas. The journal's target audience is primarily academics with a focus on theology and religious studies, as well as the interested public, especially the Swedish Free Church.
