Presenting international, peer-reviewed scholarship on the history of natural philosophy and the philosophy of science, HOPOS explores this history through a wide variety of lenses, from the textual-interpretative to investigations of institutional, cultural, and political contexts, as well as new computational methods for analyzing texts and traditions. This includes a focus not only on the work of philosophers of science and natural philosophers but also the development and impact of the philosophy of science as a discipline. The journal features articles, special issues, book reviews, and review essays of recent scholarship in growing areas of the field. HOPOS is the official journal of the International Society for the History of Philosophy of Science. All individual and student subscribers are automatically enrolled as HOPOS members, for the duration of two calendar years. Membership includes a subscription to the journal HOPOS and eligibility to register for the biennial meeting of the Society.
