Created in 1978, Histoire de l'éducation is a peer-reviewed historical journal devoted to teaching and education in France and abroad. Through the articles, critical notes and book reviews published in its two annual issues, it aims to make known the best of research in this field, report on historiographical developments and debates, contribute to the animation of its scientific milieu and promote the history of education. Histoire de l'éducation is aimed at historians and researchers from other disciplines in the field of education, as well as teachers, trainers and all those who seek in the past of education one of the keys to understanding its current problems.
