Hispanófila (Hispanófila)
Journal Descriptions
A UNC-CH Department of Romance Studies publication since 1968, Hispanófila appears three times per year. The journal accepts innovative essays on any literary or cultural topic dealing with the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking worlds. Hispanófila strictly adheres to the current MLA Style Manual (8th edition*), with a bibliographic list including all Works Cited at the end of the essay. For more information on the MLA style, please refer to the MLA Style Center website (https://style.mla.org/). Another helpful online resource is the Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL). We have also prepared a one-page Guide to MLA 8.
