Journal Descriptions

HeilberufeSCIENCE is Springer Pflege's scientific online journal for the entire German-speaking world. It is aimed at all scientific institutions as well as all interested persons and institutions from the fields of nursing, health, midwifery, rescue and therapy sciences - including management and pedagogy, as well as public health. Original papers, systematic reviews, scientific short bulletins, qualification theses, case reports and specialist correspondence are published. The aim is to promote scientific exchange in the aforementioned areas and the professionalization of the aforementioned disciplines. In conjunction with the Springer nursing magazines Heilberufe, PflegeZeitschrift and PROCARE, HeilberufeSCIENCE offers a unique opportunity to promote theory-practice transfer. Original articles submitted to HeilberufeSCIENCE are subjected to an anonymized, double-blind peer review. For pilot projects or reports on smaller projects, the "Scientific Short Notices" section is available. In particular, it is intended to enable young researchers or institutions from the field to present their own scientific work in a short and compact form.
