Hebrew Studies (HS)
Journal Descriptions
Hebrew Studies is a scholarly journal devoted to Hebrew language, linguistics, literature and culture of all periods. Hebrew Studies welcomes manuscripts of scholarly articles on Hebrew language, linguistics, literature, and culture of all periods. All manuscripts submitted to Hebrew Studies undergo peer review and are accepted by the final decision of the editor. By submitting a manuscript to Hebrew Studies for review, the author certifies that it is not being submitted simultaneously to another journal. An author must inform the managing editor if it has been published previously or will be published elsewhere, or another manuscript substantially similar has been published or will be published in print or online elsewhere, whether in English or in another language. On occasion, however, Hebrew Studies may publish, at the editor’s discretion, English translations of significant articles that have appeared in Modern Hebrew. Before submitting translations of Hebrew articles, authors should consult the editor.
