Greenhouse Gases: Science and Technology (GGST)
Journal Descriptions
Greenhouse Gases: Science and Technology is a specialized peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in the science and engineering of greenhouse gas management. Since its launch in 2011, the journal has provided a high-impact platform for interdisciplinary research that addresses fundamental and applied challenges in understanding and mitigating the effects of greenhouse gases, particularly carbon dioxide, on the environment and climate. Its scope spans from detailed experimental and modelling studies of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) technologies to broader assessments of mitigation strategies, environmental impacts, and policy-relevant analyses. Contributions include original research articles, critical reviews, and short communications that explore innovative technologies for capturing CO₂ from industrial and atmospheric sources; geological, biological, and engineered approaches for long-term storage; utilization pathways for greenhouse gases in chemical and energy products; and techno-economic and regulatory perspectives that influence implementation. The journal serves researchers, engineers, policymakers, and industry professionals focused on climate-related energy and environmental challenges. Published bimonthly by Wiley in cooperation with the Society of Chemical Industry, Greenhouse Gases: Science and Technology fosters communication between scientific discovery and practical application in the global effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and manage climate change risks.
