Global Change Biology is an environmental change journal dedicated to shaping the future and solving the world’s most challenging problems by tackling sustainability, climate change and environmental protection, food and water safety and provision, as well as global health. The journal exists to promote the understanding of the impacts of global change on biological systems and solutions. It publishes primary research articles, technical advances, research reviews, research reports, opinions, perspectives, commentaries and letters. Effective with the 2024 volume, Global Change Biology will be published in an online-only format. Find out why and what this means for you here. Global Change Biology defines global change as any consistent trend in the environment - past, present or projected - that affects a substantial part of the globe.
