Global Bioethics is an international, open access journal publishing research on the bioethical aspects of global health research, practice and policy. Global Bioethics aims to stimulate and inform research, education, scholarship, and policy of global relevance. The journal represents an international constituency of philosophers, ethicists, policymakers, theologians, health professionals, researchers, scientists, and educators who bring together scholarship from around the world. These cover a variety of ethical positions in order to reflect and facilitate new critically engaged ways of thinking about contemporary topics in global bioethics. Specific areas of interest are: Public health Healthcare Philosophy and Theology Policy and Governance Environment Science and Technology Education and Public Engagement The journal welcomes theoretical, normative, empirical, and methodological papers, as well as comments and responses to papers. Short articles attentive to wider social and contextual issues that affect bioethics such as justice, the natural environment, health care disparities, sex and gender, religion, and law are of particular interest. Global Bioethics accepts original articles, commentaries, regional accounts and short analyses.
