Germinal (Germinal)
Journal Descriptions
Germinal is the meeting of three ambitions: republican, socialist and ecological. Bringing together a team of forty young researchers, senior civil servants and intellectuals from leading European and international research institutions, the magazine aims to explore the theoretical foundations and concrete forms of an ecological and socialist political economy, and their consequences for republican thought. Despite a massive rejection of political institutions, the journal demonstrates the concern of the younger generation to lead the battle of ideas in the face of the crisis of the social bond, the weakening of public debate and the disintegration of political parties. The aim of its work is to oppose the liberal and identitarian bipolarization of public debate, which is precipitating social disintegration, by defending and defining an ecological socialism, in the theoretical sense.
