Geographical Research (GR)

Geographical Research is an internationally refereed scholarly journal and the flagship publication of the Institute of Australian Geographers Inc., published by Wiley‑Blackwell. First issued under its current name in the mid‑2000s (building on an earlier lineage of Australian geographical publications), it appears four times annually with issues in February, May, August, and November. The journal serves as a forum for cutting‑edge research that spans the breadth of the discipline of geography — from physical geography, environmental processes, and earth‑surface dynamics to human geography, urban systems, cultural landscapes, economic geography, and spatial theory.
