Genèses (Genèses)
Journal Descriptions
Founded in 1990, Genèses is a quarterly social science journal. The aim of Genèses is to understand our contemporary societies, to reconstruct the processes that have shaped them, and to contribute to the history of our disciplines. Genèses is a meeting place where different approaches can be expressed. It brings together researchers from a wide range of disciplines and contributes to present-day debates by analyzing important scientific and cultural themes from a historical perspective. It also explores the history of the scholarly world, reflecting on the constitution of the fields and boundaries of disciplines, their objects and their ways of doing things. Genèses is published with the support of the Centre national du livre, the Sciences humaines et sociales du CNRS and the Centre de recherches historiques UMR 8558.
