Gerontology and Society is an interdisciplinary scientific journal founded in 1972. It publishes thematic, multidisciplinary issues devoted to the study of old age and aging, and the theories, causes and consequences of their forms, dynamics and representations. The aim of Gérontologie et société is to promote dialogue between researchers from all disciplines concerned with aging: sociology, psychology, demography, economics, philosophy, geriatrics, public health, anthropology, history, geography, political science, management science, nursing science, etc. The journal publishes three issues a year. The editorial line, programming and editorial tools, in French and English, are available on the magazine website. Author contracts and reproduction rights. Gérontologie et société is published in hard copy and electronically on the Cairn humanities and social sciences journals portal (1972-2022). It is also available in English on Cairn International.
