Designed to understand and analyze the evolution of contemporary societies, the journal Géographie, économie society makes an original contribution at the highest international level international level, particularly in the field of territorial economics where it is the leader. Over the past twenty years, the practice of economic geography has undergone considerable changes, the most important of which is undoubtedly the desire to take into account the social context in which economic activities take place, to the point that it may now seem more appropriate to speak of socioeconomic geography. A multidisciplinary journal therefore, but also an open journal as evidenced by the different professional orientations of a largely international Editorial Committee. Geography, Economy, Society offers quality scientific articles, notes and interviews. It thus makes an original contribution to the field of geographical economics and regional planning and aims to contribute, more broadly, to the progress of the social sciences.
