Fluid Dynamics Research publishes theoretical, numerical and experimental studies that contribute to the fundamental understanding and application of fluid phenomena. It is an invaluable resource for physicists and researchers in engineering interested in problems relevant to the motion of fluids. Featuring invited reviews and original papers on topical subjects by leading researchers in the field, the journal's coverage is broad and will appeal to researchers working in the interdisciplinary field of fluid dynamics. Fluid Dynamics Research has a new Editor-in-Chief, Professor Genta Kawahara, who is supported by an international Editorial Board. The journal is published six times per year and has adopted article numbering, enabling papers to be published online immediately, ahead of print publication. Fluid Dynamics Research publishes original and creative works in all fields of fluid dynamics. The scope includes theoretical, numerical and experimental studies as well as data-driven approaches that contribute to the fundamental understanding and/or application of fluid flow phenomena, including turbulence, instability, nonlinear waves, vortex dynamics, rotating flows, multiphase and stratified flows, and micro-scale flows. Fluid Dynamics Research covers a broad range of fundamental topics in science and engineering in fields including, but not limited to, aeronautics, astrophysics, acoustics, atmospheric and environmental science, biological fluid dynamics, chemically reacting flows, combustion, gasdynamics, geophysics, meteorology, oceanography, and plasma physics. FDR welcomes contributions that pioneer novel ideas and approaches to advance the understanding of fluid flow phenomena and/or develop new applications of fluid mechanics.

Start Your Free Journal!Scholar9.com is a peer-review platform that hosts journals from across the globe. Please note that we do not own any of the journals hosted on the platform.
Our platform enables journal owners to send articles for peer review to users who have registered via https://scholar9.com/register and have consented to serve as reviewers for multiple journals. Additionally, we offer an indirect manuscript submission system for journals that are claimed and actively managed by their respective owners on Scholar9.com.
For accurate information about the indexing status of journals (in databases such as UGC CARE, Scopus, or Web of Science) and contact details, users must refer to the respective official websites.
Scholar9 is not responsible for indexing claims, manuscript acceptance/rejection, refunds of article processing charges, or any stage of the final publication process. Users are strongly advised to verify all information provided on the platform independently.
Scholar9.com disclaims liability for disputes related to indexing claims, publication decisions, or other journal-specific matters. Users are encouraged to contact the respective journal owners directly for detailed information and clarifications.
