This journal presents research informed by Freud and Lacan, with Anglo-Saxon clinical contributions. Influenced by the style of Maud Mannoni, it searches out the liveliest clinical issues to further our understanding of the lessons analysis teaches. Figures de la psychanalyse is the journal of Espace analytique, Association de formation psychanalytique et de recherches freudiennes, founded by Maud Mannoni. Inaugurated by Joël Dor, the journal has since been coordinated by successive editors-in-chief, currently Gisèle Chaboudez and Jacques Sédat. Its works comment on Freud, certain Anglo-Saxons and Lacan, and give an essential place to the analytic experience.
