FEMS Yeast Research (FYR)

FEMS Yeast Research offers efficient publication of high-quality original Research Articles, Mini-reviews, Perspectives and Commentaries. The journal will select for publication only those manuscripts deemed to be of major relevance to the field and generally will not consider articles that are largely descriptive without insights on underlying mechanism or biology. Submissions on any yeast species are welcome provided they report results within the scope outlined below and are of significance to the yeast field. We will publish articles that contribute to improving our understanding of the biology or impact of yeasts provide knowledge on any yeast species We will not consider articles that are descriptive surveys, preliminary investigations, or otherwise do not add much knowledge to the field report phenomenon or phenotypes without addressing underlying mechanisms are too limited in scale, breadth or ambition to have sufficient impact are not about yeast nor relevant to the yeast community
