European Research on Management and Business Economics (ERMBE) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal published by the European Academy of Management and Business Economics (AEDEM). Originally founded in 1995 under the title Investigaciones Europeas de Dirección y Economía de la Empresa (IEDEE), the journal adopted its current name in 2016 to reflect its broader international scope and evolving academic mission. ERMBE is indexed in Scopus and the Social Sciences Citation Index (Web of Science), and has been recognized since 2014 with the Certificate of Quality in Excellence awarded by FECYT (Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología). The journal has consistently maintained this distinction in all subsequent national evaluations of scientific and editorial quality.
