European Journal of Physics (EJP)

The European Journal of Physics (EJP) is an internationally respected, peer‑reviewed journal dedicated to physics education and pedagogical scholarship. Since its launch in 1980, EJP has aimed to support educators, researchers, and students in understanding and teaching physics effectively at the undergraduate and graduate level. Published six times per year by IOP Publishing on behalf of the European Physical Society, the journal serves as a world‑wide forum for ideas that improve the quality, accessibility, and impact of physics education. EJP features a broad range of article types, including survey articles that explain complex physical concepts in a student‑friendly way, original insights into derivations and explanations, innovative laboratory exercises and experiments, discussions on curriculum design, explorations of physics history and philosophy, and findings from physics education research. With a hybrid open access model, EJP supports both subscription access and optional open publishing.
