The journal primarily examines the regions socio-economic development, regional affairs and international relations. EJEAS aims to promote interdisciplinary research within the social sciences, encouraging deeper conceptual and empirical analysis of East Asia’s recent and ongoing transformations at both local and global levels. The journal also welcomes insights from fields like cultural studies, international development, foreign affairs, global studies, public policy, corporate management.
