The European Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing (EJCN) is a peer-reviewed, international journal working to improve the quality of nursing care for patients with cardiovascular disease. Dedicated to the advancement of knowledge in the field of cardiovascular care and the promotion of evidence-based clinical practice, EJCN is the official journal of the Association of Cardiovascular Nursing and Allied Professions (ACNAP), an association of the European Society of Cardiology. The Journal publishes original articles, literature reviews, research letters, discussion papers, and editorials in the broad field of cardiovascular nursing and care. Submitted papers must have relevance for the advancement of care for cardiovascular populations or they must address research methodologies that are relevant for this domain. The findings should be novel and the use of innovative research methods is preferred. The Journal publishes articles from different disciplines, such as nursing, physiotherapy, psychology, pharmacology, or nutrition, as long as the relevance for cardiovascular care is paramount. Basic science submissions are considered to be out of scope.
