EPPO Bulletin (EB)
Journal Descriptions
The EPPO Bulletin is the official scientific journal of the European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organization (EPPO), an intergovernmental organization dedicated to harmonizing plant protection across the Euro‑Mediterranean region. Established in 1971, the journal publishes high‑quality research on all aspects of regulatory plant protection, with emphasis on issues that are critical to national plant protection organizations and phytosanitary services. It publishes original research articles, standards, expert reviews, pest risk analyses, reports on outbreaks and regulatory developments, and papers from EPPO meetings and conferences. Issues are published three times per year and include contributions in English and French, with summaries also in Russian, reflecting EPPO’s commitment to broad scientific communication. The scope covers plant pathology, pest risk analysis, quarantine pests, diagnostic methods, and regulatory strategies that inform policy and practice in plant health management. Articles often bridge science and policy, aiding both researchers and practitioners involved in safeguarding agriculture and natural ecosystems against harmful plant pests and diseases. The EPPO Bulletin is available in both print and online formats via Wiley’s platform, making it a key resource for scientists, regulators, and extension professionals worldwide.
