Eolas: The Journal of the American Society of Irish Medieval Studies is a peer reviewed, interdisciplinary journal dedicated to the study of Ireland in the Middle Ages, including Irish intersections with other medieval cultures and societies. Eolas: The Journal of the American Society of Irish Medieval Studies is an interdisciplinary journal dedicated to the study of Ireland in the Middle Ages, including Irish intersections with other medieval cultures and societies. We look forward to receiving submissions on a range of subjects dealing with all aspects of medieval Ireland, including but not limited to: archaeology, philology, theology, literature, history, and art history. The journal includes a Book Reviews section and Digital Projects Reviews section and is available to members on JSTOR. The deadline for submission of manuscripts for consideration in Eolas 19 is October 17, 2025. Earlier submissions are encouraged. Eolas is a peer reviewed publication advancing the interdisciplinary and international study of Irish medieval studies. Eolas is published by the Catholic University of America Press, cataloged by EBSCO, and available in digital format at JSTOR.
