Empedocles: European Journal for the Philosophy of Communication (Empedocles)
Journal Descriptions
European Journal for the Philosophy of Communication (Empedocles) publishes articles, essays and book reviews that deal with the philosophical dimensions of communication and the communicative dimensions of philosophy. We do not favour particular philosophical schools and traditions over others and we are open to all theoretical orientations in communication studies. We are an interdisciplinary journal for those working at the interface of philosophy and the study of communication, in all its aspects. European Journal for the Philosophy of Communication (Empedocles) aims to provide a publication and discussion platform for those working at the interface of philosophy and the study of communication, in all its aspects. This double-blind peer-reviewed journal is published in cooperation with the Section for the Philosophy of Communication of ECREA, the European Communication Research and Education Association.
