The Electronic Journal of Music in Education (EJME) was founded in 1998 and is published biannually. Research articles (preferably) or educational applications that relate music and education are accepted. The journal is aimed at music education professionals and students; its aim is to improve the quality and organization of music education in educational institutions. This journal is open access, meaning that authors and readers can archive copies of articles in open repositories provided that information about the authors, editors, and journal is maintained. Portions of published articles may also be used provided the source and authorship are duly acknowledged.
