To disseminate unpublished articles and promote the study of Peruvian Traditions and other palmist texts of poetic, epistolary, linguistic, lexicographic, and historiographical nature. And as a complementary objective, to foster research in the field of the humanities. El Palma de la Juventud. The Student Magazine of Ricardo Palma University is a biannual publication whose main objective is to publish unpublished articles resulting from studies and research on the work of Ricardo Palma, primarily on the Peruvian Traditions and other Palma texts of poetic, epistolary, linguistic, lexicographic, and historiographical nature. Its complementary objective is to promote research in the field of the humanities. The journal's articles are refereed under a single -blind review system . Reviewers external to the institution are aware of the authors' information at the time of the review and take into account the following evaluation criteria: originality, contribution of the work, relevance, and contribution to knowledge of the palmist and humanities. The journal reserves the right to publish the article and, if the submitted article is accepted, may make any style corrections and other necessary adjustments to meet the requirements of publication. The journal El Palma de la Juventud welcomes articles from undergraduate and graduate students at Ricardo Palma University, as well as manuscripts from students at other national and international universities interested in issues related to academic reflection, critical work, and scientific and interdisciplinary research related to the work of Ricardo Palma and the humanities.
