Founded in 1986, Eighteenth-Century Ireland / Iris an dá chultúr is a multi-disciplinary journal devoted to the publication of new and cutting edge research on the Irish experience in the eighteenth century. From 2021, the journal has been published by Liverpool University Press, in partnership with the Eighteenth Century Ireland Society (ECIS). The journal is received by libraries, booksellers, museums, archives, universities and other educational institutions. It is published annually and is distributed to all current members of the Society. The ECIS is a constituent society of the International Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ISECS) and has members across the island of Ireland and overseas.
