EcoRev (EcoRev)
Journal Descriptions
An ecologist magazine for reflection and debate founded in 1999, EcoRev' is a tool at the service of those involved in the struggle for social and ecological transformation. The aim of the journal is to publish, on a quarterly basis, original scientific articles in French on the themes of agriculture, food, the environment and territories. The journal is open to a variety of disciplines (economics, sociology, geography, etc.), and its articles reflect the plurality of approaches within these disciplines. The editorial board pays close attention to the readability of articles for different audiences (researchers, teachers, public decision-makers, agricultural and rural development players, etc.), and to the quality of the empirical content of contributions. Articles can be submitted under different headings: Research" (publication of original research results); facts and figures" (summaries of agricultural, agri-food and rural transformations, based on statistical data); state of the art" (reviews of academic literature); debates" (publication of points of view expressed at certain SFER Agricultural Policy Seminars); reading notes" (comments on recently published books). The editorial committee responds to all article proposals. It selects the articles, with the help of a network of readers. The review process is double-blind. The committee is committed to improving publication deadlines. Authors will receive an initial response within two weeks (is the paper accepted for editorial review?). If the paper is accepted into the review process, the reviewers' opinions will be forwarded to the authors within 4 months. Authors will be notified of publication conditions, any changes of form or content, and the planned publication date as soon as the journal's program can be finalized. Authors undertake not to submit their articles to other journals.
