The East African Journal of Communication Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing scholarly understanding of human communication across diverse contexts. Serving as a platform for innovative research and critical insights, the journal publishes studies in various subfields of communication, including but not limited to interpersonal communication, organizational communication, digital communication, political communication, intercultural and cross-cultural communication, health communication, science communication, development communication, environmental communication, crisis and risk communication, strategic communication and rhetoric studies. The East African Journal of Communication Studies (EAJoCS) is a peer-reviewed journal advancing research and practice in communication. Established by the Centre for Communication Studies, it bridges academia and real-world challenges, covering diverse communication fields while supporting policy-making, behavior change, and sustainable development in East Africa and beyond.
