disP - The Planning Review is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed scientific journal for planning scholarship. We publish high quality and original research on important planning issues. This includes topics in the areas of urban development, city and town planning, urban policy and governance, urban studies, landscape and environmental planning, regional development as well as transportation planning. The journal is open to qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research in planning and urban studies and to contributions from different geographical regions. We are committed to combine theoretical discussion with empirical research to address pressing issues in planning theory, policy, and practice. Typically, two disP issues per year are devoted to a specific theme. Articles are mainly published in English, but may also be published in German, French or Italian.
