Diogenes (Diogenes)
Journal Descriptions
Founded in 1952 by Roger Caillois, Diogène magazine has made a transdisciplinary approach to the human and social sciences its hallmark. The magazine presents the most topical intellectual issues from cross-disciplinary and complementary perspectives. It also advocates a cultural openness rooted in the concrete concerns of our time and our societies. In this way, the magazine sets out to counter the weakening of research caused by excessive specialization, compartmentalization between sciences and the entrenchment of identity. As a major international journal, Diogenes calls on the collaboration of researchers from all over the world, ensuring that their work receives exceptional coverage. Published by the International Council for Philosophy and Humanistic Studies (ICPHS), with the support of UNESCO, Diogenes is available in French, English, Arabic, Chinese and Spanish.
