Digestive and Liver Disease is a peer‑reviewed international medical journal dedicated to advancing basic and clinical research in the fields of gastroenterology and hepatology. It serves as the official journal for several major Italian scientific societies, including the Italian Association for the Study of the Liver (AISF), Italian Association for the Study of the Pancreas (AISP), Italian Association for Digestive Endoscopy (SIED), Italian Society of Gastroenterology (SIGE), Italian Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology (SIGENP), and the Italian Group for the Study of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IG‑IBD).
