The focus is on prevention, diagnostic procedures and complication management as well as secure therapy strategies. In each issue, a focus topic deepens a sub-area of diabetology. In reviews, recognized authors present the current state of development. The practice guidelines of the German Diabetes Society are also part of the curriculum. The "Journal Club" section summarises and comments on trend-setting international literature.
