Journal Descriptions
The DZA is the highest-circulation journal outside China for acupuncture and related techniques (all forms of acupuncture, moxibustion, laser therapy, neural therapy, reflex therapy, tuina, dietetics, phytotherapy, homeopathy). It is the forum for scientific research and practical application of these techniques in clinics and practices. The DZA represents acupuncture and related procedures in the sense of integrative medicine, i.e. within the framework of modern scientific models of thought while preserving traditional knowledge. The editorial focus is particularly on scientific promotion and all aspects of today's acupuncture practice. The DZA is based on scientific criteria (peer review, evidence-based medicine).
