Derna University Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (DUJHSS) is a free, peer-reviewed scholarly journal specializing in the dissemination of scientific research in the fields of humanities and social sciences. Its scope covers a wide range of disciplines, including Business Administration and Economics, English Language, Education and Psychology, Sociology, Geography, Law, Media and Communication, and Arabic Language. The journal is published by the University of Derna, Libya and issues two numbers annually. It holds the legal deposit number (37/2023) at the National Library in Benghazi, in addition to the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN): 2959-6483. The journal is accredited by the Publications Department of the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development and is an official member of Crossref, with all published articles assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs). Furthermore, the journal is indexed in Google Scholar, the Maʿrifah Database (Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan), and Dar Almandumah (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
