For over three decades, Cuban Studies has been the preeminent journal for scholarly work on Cuba. Published each winter, the volume features interdisciplinary articles on Cuba in both English and Spanish, a large book review section, and an exhaustive compilation of recent works in the field. Founded in 1970, Cuban Studies has been published by the University of Pittsburgh Press since 1985. It is the preeminent journal for scholarly work on Cuba. Each volume includes articles in both English and Spanish, as well as a large book review section. Widely praised for its interdisciplinary approach and trenchant analysis of an array of topics, each volume features the best scholarship in the humanities and social sciences. Cuban Studies is the preeminent journal for scholarly work on Cuba. Each volume includes articles in English and Spanish and a large book review section. In publication since 1970, and under Alejandro de la Fuente’s editorial leadership since 2013, this interdisciplinary journal covers all aspects of Cuban history, politics, culture, diaspora, and more. Issue 54 contains seven articles, a dossier on transition in Cuba, and two sections of primary sources.
