Critical Social Policy (CSP)

Critical Social Policy is a highly regarded, peer-reviewed academic journal that has shaped debates in social policy and welfare analysis for more than four decades. Founded in 1981, the journal provides an international platform for scholarship that goes beyond conventional policy analysis to examine how power, inequality, and social relations shape the formulation, implementation, and impacts of public policies. Published quarterly, the journal welcomes original empirical research, theoretical essays, critiques, and interdisciplinary work rooted in critical perspectives — including socialist, feminist, anti-racist, intersectional and radical frameworks.
